Relocation vs Endless missions for farming forge materials

I'm still new to this game, and I was curious what people at higher levels think.I tried the Relocation commission, and it felt like it took a while to complete for the rewards I ended with. Since the rewards are just enemy drops... Wouldn't you get a better haul for your time by farming an endless mission type?
