Just asking about DNA’s lore

Just curious how far, everyone has dug into DNA’s lore?

Why I’m asking is because as far as i see online no one has discussed DNA full lore or background lore. Though this is probably me just not digging enough online.

Also what I’m talking about is the lore about how the world works. Like how the magic system make no sense at all or the black tide.

Reasoning for magic system: In game there are multiple references to different magic systems like cultivation, blood line/ability, and possibly religious magic though its was a random remark.

(Please do correct me if I’m wrong about my assumption for the magic system.)

The magic system isn't incredibly detailed, and it shouldn't be. Magic should retain some semblance of the unexplained, because if you boil it down to being something fully explained it becomes less mystical and becomes just science. There is some link between the magic system and Phoxene and the various Trees in the world. Phoxene is also linked to Charons becoming Daemons via Awakening, Deteroriating, or stabilizing without powers.

Based on what we've seen so far, the more Phoxene exposure a Charon has, the more likely they are to either Deteriorate or Awaken, the less Phoxene exposure they have, the more likely they are to stabilize without powers. The Hyperborean Empire is intentionally stuffing as much Phoxene exposure in to Charons as they can to try to increase their own military power, which is why deterioration seems worse in Hyperborea than anywhere else.

@Sable Huxua deals with the problem differently, and seems to have a high Phoxene concentration in it's overall area than Hyperboreas natural level of Phoxene. Elder Daemons used Resonance to create a wide scale control system, enabling them to gain control of, and use Charons who have deteriorated like puppets which they use to enforce their laws. Both Huxua and the Elysium Church worship Daemons. While Hyperborea persecutes them.

humans and charons are different beings but charons can be born from humans since they share similar type of DNA 🧬, (hence the name?) but they are inherently different since charons can control magic. (see the Fina arc story with the little girl), because some charons undergo Deterioration and transform into monsters or Bi'an (like Psyche), the humans have grown to fear them and that's why the war between them started.

as for who's the figure that paid a huge sum to Camilla, who also talked to Katya, one of the theories is that he could be Ask, the father god of the Charon's, or just a messenger sent by Ask to assist Katya

to summarize: both MC got dragged into a political turmoil, only Vita managed to escape with stranger assistance, while Mors just received royal support, then Vita helped Huaxu to solve the problems caused by Yin Yang imbalance

which was in fact due to the politics of the Huaxu gods, then Vita returned to Hyperborea
