Why can’t I find a character that suits me and my playing style?

Why can’t I find a character that suits me and my playing style? I have a lot of fun with Lynn, but farmed for Psyche and Lady Nifle because of meta… but I can’t play them, I don’t like their skills. My question is: is it possible to clear high level things with non meta characters? I’m farming to try all of them, but still haven’t found THE ONE ☹️

Maybe you'll like Hilda, she was in the CBT2 and you can find videos about her gameplay. She looks really fun to play and has guns like Lynn, sadly she's not getting released anytime soon.

Brute force will require the proper wedges, and not all elemental wedges are created equal (currently), nor can all characters’ skill sets overcome being out of meta. It also may not work in some cases, such as Theater, where the penalty for being out of element can be brutal to overcome.

What kind of play style do you prefer in other games? If you prefer melee, maybe Outsider or Kezhou will be more to your tastes?

@Cloverful Well I’m kinda unfortunate… I always play support. But I like physical over magic I think, that’s why I can’t stand Nifle and I hate life draining skill, so I hate Psyche too 🥲
