Hello! As the title suggests, I'm PearlyDew! I'm new to the game, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for beginner's invested in the story of the game! For example, it could be around F2P'ness of the game (I come from Wuthering Waves), which characters to build, what to focus on first, etc. My favorite character going on appearances has got to be Truffle and Filbert! I hope to be an amazing piggyrider one day! ^^

Avare has already said everything to say. (T_T) The beginning of the game is easy going, you can simply play when you can and when you want to, once you get to TR38 I'd really recommend Lady Nifle, she's easy, simple and really powerful! And can clear almost everything imo.
But once you get to higher ranks like TR60, it gets quite tiring because of how hard it is to grind for gold demon wedges and forging them, ascending characters and weapons are also tiring. つ﹏ɵ̷̥̥᷅

If you’re invested in the story and characters, there’s lots of extra materials in the character profiles, and in the Sanctuary, characters you have in Settle may sometimes have secret interactions 🫢 Also do check out their Sojourns (the teacup icon in Sanctuary).

Kay. I would recommend to just go with the flow until you finish the story. The game itself introduces you into the game pretty well. You came from WuWa. you have some experience. I never played a game like this before. ever. and figured it out pretty quickly) Once you unlock a character. you can read their stories. Go to armory. your character. and go profile. and then there's a story. i think you need to upgrade your character to access different chapters of the story.

also, you can check which builds are best for characters/weapons out on "demon wedge casket". click the "matching tips" and you'll see. these builds are for new-beginners, which will help you a lot

you can literally endlessly grind. but, dont force yourself too much. i think right now you should enjoy the story and your characters. the game's story is so far interesting and nice.
of course the game still lacks a few things, but I enjoy while playing. i hope you'll enjoy, too🫶

truffle and rebecca. once you reach a certain level, i'd suggest you to get lady nifle and lynn. since all of the characters are free, you won't regret getting them even if you don't like them.
some characters (such as phantasio and psyche) can be only claimed through n. echoes, which will be available once you finish chapter 3. but they'll eventually come to the shop. there is also an end-game mode (theatre) where we can get the newest character. right now, kezhou can be obtained from there.
