Djedkdjsjdjdid im shy about posting this bc these days I’m merely a lazy doodler and no longer a dedicated fan artist who can bother to finish a piece… I scribbled this in my planner back in November while at work. Crack idea crossover with the song MEDiUM from IDOLiSH7, which is a concept song from their 2024 group anniversary.

The song tells the tale of a painter, a gardener, and the Twilight Troupe. The Troupe is led by the Clown (pictured left above). In the song/story, the Twilight Troupe comes to visit the town & perform & admission is free… but the most valuable treasure will be stolen when they leave. The Painter is a nobody in this town, so he and the gardener live together, and he relies on the Gardener to provide for them. The Gardener simply enjoys the works of the Painter. He works for the richest noble family in town, the Noble is freaking out about if his stuff will be taken when the show is over. Painter goes to watch the show and brings a sketchbook w/ him, but leaves feeling as if his paintings will never make people as happy as seeing the brilliant show by the Twilight Troupe.

The Painter goes home and finds the Gardener has broken his arm and will not be able to work for a while, so the Painter promises to take on a new work to make up for all the times the Gardener provided for the two of them. He ends up finishing a painting as he sees and hears the show from far away.

Days later, the Twilight Troupe’s final performance in the town ends, and so it is time to collect the town’s most valuable treasure. The Clown appears before the Painter to take his painting. The Gardener refuses at first, but the Painter is happy that someone took joy in his work and offers it to the Clown. The Troupe leaves, and the Painter gains reputation after it’s found that it was his painting that was deemed the most valuable treasure in town. He and the Gardener live happily ever after.

The idea of a crossover was partly birthed from Phantasio’s small talk where he tells Vita that if they happen to run into Violetta-sensei in Galea Theater, to lie to her and tell her that Parsifal ran off to Aethyrie and is living it up there so she doesn’t worry about her former student.

There’s a bunch of hand-waving involved in Phantasio even being alive and escaped etc etc but I just wanted to imagine him laying low and traveling in a magical airship with a bunch of weirdos while slowly recovering (physically and mentally). Bleeeeeehhh I didn’t really actually get very far in thinking about it, but it’s just fun…

PS: KENN’s character plays the Gardener, Ono Kensho’s plays the Painter LOL
