Do you use a Bluetooth controller to play? Sometimes I find that it will do this stuff only if I’m navigating menus with the controller.

no I don't use a 🎮 I have one but he doesn't support it apparently.

If you are new to the game then features unlock as you play through the story. They will be adding a skip feature in the near future for those who don't want the story I believe
