it's kinda really bizarre that they made a social media platform?? like am I the only one who thinks this is a little odd? I mean I guess it replaces forums which were old and clunky but it's still kinda weird

Walled garden. The issue most of us run in to on most mainstream socials is that absolutely everyone can harass the overall DNA community. You get people from other games that don't play DNA, harassing DNA players, and that just gets tiresome after a point. Here, it's only for us, our community, our players, our peers.

its basically a little community forum as an app, its not the first of these games to do that and its kind of cool imo - especially since you can link your character in profile and find people with similar interest or to run coop :)
