Guide to Impressions!

So this is my first guide, forgive me if it seems messy 💕 This is as far as I’ve seen for impressions, so I’ll form it on what I’ve seen.

So, Impression!

This is kind of a side mechanic in the game. It’s not heavily important but it still gets you something. Each impression has 5 different varieties. Morality, Chaos, Wisdom, Empathy, and Benefit. For the most part, you gain roughly 3 points for specific dialogues in the main quest. I don’t know what each dialogue gives as for which of the five, but I’m sure there’s a guide to the quest dialogue somewhere. Essentially, the words will show what kind of impression it could be. Empathy is showing understanding and compassion in dialogue, Morality seems to be a bit similar roughly, but more justice kind of? Benefit is things like winning things I think. Chaos is things like jokes or playing fun. Wisdom is showing understanding/knowing towards something. That’s roughly as far as I’ve noticed for dialogue choices that give you points to which impression.

In the bottom right of the map, you can see what your impressions are at, you can also go directly to the impression store from there. Bottom left shows your options as for little daily quests. They’re very basic quests. After all the main quests and side quests are completed, this is your way of maxing out your impressions to 100. The first time, you have to run the quest yourself. The second time, you can send out characters to do it for you, but it takes longer. The quests also have things other than ones that give impression. Sometimes it won’t give as much impression if the right characters are not inputted. This is also where those character traits come into play.
Each character has a set of three traits that reveal over their level ascension. These traits contribute to the success of those expeditions/daily quests. Some traits are just the recommended trait for the specific quest, some just enhance the quest rewards overall. If asked, I can definitely make a post showing what traits each character has. That’s just 19 images I’d need to input.
So, the higher your impression level, the more chance it succeeding impression checks which use a multi sided dice to decide if it worked, then it’ll add your impression amount. This shiny thing next to the shop keeper respawns at roughly each daily reset. It’ll give one of two things, Toy Hammer, or the dice needed for checks. You can also create some dice, although it’s not too cheap.

Anyway, impressions can often be used for either checks in the shop or checks in side quests/daily quests. For the most part, it’s mainly to get blueprints or items from the shop. Beware that some of the side quests require a lot of impression, like roughly 80+. So if you have 80 empathy for example, you’d be safe. But if you had 40 empathy, you’d have to pray that you roll at least 40 on the dice to pass the impression check. I think speaking with NPCs can also just give random impression checks to get to know them better, which I think those checks are also pretty high. If you lose a check, you just need an extra dice to reroll.

I hope that wasn’t too confusing, feel free to ask me to elaborate in the comments or to ask for anything more detailed. I’m on America server if you wish to add me, I’m more than happy to help! 💕
