40 years ago, Hamel Dickinson had a secret relationship with Glevum Pit Mining director’s daughter, Hilin. Later, Hilin’s father found out about it, and Hamel Dickinson received a terrible thrashing instead of a blessing.
But Hilin didn’t give up. She secretly sent a letter to Hamel, asking him to meet her at midnight on April 26th at Silverpeace Square. But he didn’t come.
You can find their story from this side quest, The Returnees Never Return :
Where is Mr. Dickinson go?
Hamel heard a story about a gem trader and a few bandits who died in a cave deep in the mountains a hundred years ago, and he thinking about finding that gem so he could become rich and marry Hilin.
Maybe his friend called him Hans, or maybe it was a different person. But this note tells us that there is an old story about the gem trader and the bandits. the story might be true, or it might not true.
He start to search the gem at April 14 :
On April 19, he started showing signs of deterioration, but he just brushed it off.
And he turned into a Filthoid on, I assume, April 26. The same day Hilin was waiting for him in Silverpeace Square.
And to this day, he is still roaming the Glevum Pit Forbidden Zone, searching for the gem… well, at least until you kill him.
And the ones who gave him the name “The Crystalophile” were the Alchemist, Bob, and Ines Morley.
