Nice to see you again. Since our last bulletin, we've received numerous suggestions and words of encouragement — thank you all for your continued support of Duet Night Abyss!
We sincerely apologize for the issues many of you encountered during the first week, such as co-op commission freezes, incompletable quests, and rampant cheating, which have significantly impacted your experience.
At the same time, through social media, community channels, customer support, and in-game surveys, we've also noted many valuable suggestions. We thank you again sincerely and wish to use this bulletin to share our team's recent plans.
Ⅰ. Regarding In-Game Issues
1. Friendly Games Issues
After the event launched on November 3, we identified two problems:
· Quests disappeared in the Regular Games interface, preventing completion and reward collection.
· In Challenge Games, quests on the right could be completed before being unlocked, allowing early collection of left-side rewards. The total rewards remained unchanged, but challenge point display was affected.
We apologize for the inconvenience. A hotfix was deployed on the evening of November 3. However, based on recent customer feedback, some Phoxhunters still encounter display issues with the left-side panel. If this occurs, try logging out for 10 minutes before relogging. If it persists, please contact customer service.
Players who missed Regular Games rewards due to this issue may also contact customer service. After verifying data, we will reissue rewards via mail.
2. Cheating & Bans
Since launch, we've identified players using unauthorized programs to gain advantages, severely undermining fair play. Accounts confirmed to have cheated have been suspended. A full list is available in-game and on official social channels. If you believe you were banned incorrectly, please contact customer service for a review.
To improve accuracy and speed, we are:
Integrating a third-party detection tool in an upcoming build to better identify cheating.
Refining and detailing our detection rules to reduce false positives.
We emphasize: the team maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward cheating, scripts, and any third-party tools that undermine fair play. We are committed to a just and green gaming environment. We also oppose profiting from cheat distribution and reserve the right to pursue legal action against such players.
3. Fixes for Other Issues
Since launch, we've received countless reports via social platforms, communities, support, and in-game surveys — thank you for your passion and input. Every piece of feedback is vital to improving the game and guiding future content.
We've prioritized and begun addressing these reports. Rest assured, we will fix issues in order of priority and announce specifics via in-game notices.
For missing items or rewards due to various issues, we are verifying data and will reissue them as quickly as possible.
Given the unexpectedly high volume of reports, we ask for your patience as we carefully address each case. We promise to do our utmost to resolve all reported problems as soon as possible. Thank you again for your understanding and support.
Ⅱ. Regarding Monetization Optimizations
We've received extensive feedback on the game's monetization since launch. As adjustments in this area can impact different users in different ways, we have been carefully considering any changes, and we apologize for the delay in providing an update. After a week of gathering feedback and reviewing in-game data, we would like to outline the following upcoming optimizations:
1. Lunotress's Monthly Pass
The Monthly Pass will be optimized via an online update later today (November 5). The specific changes are as follows:
· The one-time purchase reward will change from [Phoxene Plumule ×300] to [Phoxene Plumule ×300 + Commission Manual: Volume Ⅳ ×1].
· The daily login reward will change from [Phoxene ×90] to [Phoxene ×90 + Commission Manual: Volume Ⅱ ×1].
· Players who have already purchased the Monthly Pass will receive supplementary items based on the adjustments above.
Example: After the update, a player who purchased 3 Monthly Passes on October 28 and claimed the pre-update rewards on November 5 will receive Commission Manual: Volume Ⅳ ×3 and Commission Manual: Volume Ⅱ ×9 via mail.
After the update, we will need to collect purchase and redemption data from this period. This process may take some time, but we expect to distribute all supplementary items via mail within this week. We will continue to monitor your feedback following these changes and thank everyone for your valuable suggestions.
2. Future Paid Content
We have also taken note of your concerns and suggestions regarding monetization. Based on this feedback and supporting data, we will continue to adjust and refine our approach to paid content.
In the next version, in addition to new skins in Myriad and new themed skins in Shop, the following additions and optimizations are planned:
· Paid weapon skins will be introduced, with prices expected to range from $0.99 to $9.99. Version updates will also add paid and free character accessories, allowing you to better customize your favorite characters.
· New avatar frames, avatars, title backgrounds, and other cosmetic content will be gradually added. Please look out for future announcements regarding how these will be obtained.
· The limited-time exchange item "Snapfreeze" will be optimized to include a co-op interaction feature. Future limited-time exchange items will also include interactive features — specific effects will be introduced in a future bulletin.
Providing a high-quality game experience remains our ongoing goal. We will continue to expand the variety and volume of cosmetic content, improve skin quality, and add interactive elements to make them more diverse and engaging.
