How to do Covert Commissions

131 Browse · 4/Nov./2025

A friend on here asked me to make a tutorial about Covert Commissions, so here it is!

STEP #1

You open the Menu with the start button (controller) or ESC button (KB&M) then you choose the "Covert Commissions" option.

STEP #2

You choose the character/weapon/wedge of your choice. In my example, I'll be using Daphne's Secret Letter.

STEP #3

Now choose "Covert Commissions" at the bottom right to select a stage.

STEP #4

There will be a list of stages that will appear. Personally, I prefer the stages that have a ∞ symbol in their name since I don't have to constantly leave and re-enter the stage but you can choose any stage you want.

STEP #5

After you chose the stage, choose "Select a Secret Letter".

STEP #6

Now choose the Secret Letter of your choice. I only have Daphne's Secret Letter on me right now, but if you have the Secret Letters of other characters, they'll appear here.

STEP #7

Choose "Confirm" to FINALLY start the stage.

STEP #8

After you clear the stage, you'll be able to choose one of three rewards that appears on the screen. I didn't get one but this is where the character shards (called "Character Thoughts" in this game) will appear, so make sure to choose it if it appears!

Now all you have to do is rinse and repeat until you have at least 30 Character Thoughts. Have fun!

Do you know the base odds of getting Character Thoughts? At most it took me 12 or 15 times of doing the covert missions just to get one blueprint 🥲

@RPGLover88 If tier I is 10%, then Im guessing that tier II is 25% and 75% for tier III.

Theres a 10% chance to get golden tier rewards like blueprints. Thats mentioned in the game.
