Hello! 😁
I thought I'd share some useful tips that I found. I only have 2 for now but I'll add more eventually.
1. Where can I find X Item??
If you want to know where to find a certain item, all you have to do is select the item and a window that contains the description of the item will appear.
At the bottom of that new window, you'll see the "Source" of that item. Press on the Select button on your gamepad then on the confirm button (which is A on XBox controllers or X on PS controllers) or simply click on the source if youre playing with a KB&M. The game will send you where you can get the item.
If you can get the item from a stage, you'll be sent to that stage. If it's an item you can craft, you'll be sent to the forge and the item will appear at the top of the list.
If an item has no sources, then that usually means that the item can only be aquired in special ways (usually from events, from the paid shop and stuff like that).
Here's a screenshot in case my explanation was confusing:
2. Do low level stages for more rewards
Unfortunately, this trick only works with stages that have the infinity symbol (this ∞ symbol) in its name but for you guys out there who love this game but suck at it (like me) or for those of you who simply want to save their Commission Manuals, I'm sure this tip will help you out a LOT!
Let's take the "Defense ∞" Commission stage for this example. At the moment of writing this, I only have access to the Lv40, 50 and 60 stages, so I'll use the Lv40 and Lv60 stages in my example.
If you do the Lv60 stage, you'll get 10 Lunø Meməntos for clearing the 1st wave.
If you do the Lv40 stage, you'll get 6 Lunø Meməntos for clearing the 1st wave.
Now you're probably thinking...
"That's 4 less Lunø Meməntos! Why the heck would I ever want to do the Lv40 stage when I have access to the Lv60 stage!? "
...or something around those lines.
Well, that's simple! There's a reason why this Commission stage has the ∞ symbol in its name! As soon as you clear the 1st wave of enemies, you can immediately continue the stage and start a 2nd wave of enemies. Then a 3rd one, a 4th one, a 5th one and so on!
Also, the more waves you clear, the more rewards you get.
This is where my trick comes in! The level of the enemies will increase by 5 for each new wave, so if you start with the Lv40 stage, the enemies will, obviously, be at Lv40. The 2nd wave will spawn Lv45 enemies, the 3rd wave will spawn Lv50 enemies and so on. When you reach wave 5, the enemies should be Lv60.
Now if you clear that Wave and decide to finish the stage, you'll get a whopping...
Yup, that's right! 42 Lunø Meməntos!!
Way better than a measly 10, right?
3. Easy Secret Letters
I've seen lots of players on here asking about how to get Easy Secret Letters, so here's what I always do:
I simply... forget that I need them.
Wait! Wait! Don't go away! I'm not trolling, so please keep reading!! 🙏🏻
Forget that you need Secret Letters and focus on what you'll need AFTER you got the character or the weapon you want!
First, I recommend you do each commission stage at least once and when I say "each stage once", I mean every Lv of every commission stages.
For example, do Excavation stages Lv10, Lv20, Lv30 all the way to stage Lv70, at least once.
Then do Hedge stages Lv5, Lv20, Lv35 all the way to Lv70, at least once.
Then every Termination stages, every Exploration stages and keep going like that until you've cleared every Stages from Excavation stages to Relocation stages.
It's tedious, I know, but youll get minimum 1 secret letter per stage. If you've got all the stages unlocked, then you'll get 61 Secret Letters just by doing all the Commission stages once.
Once that's done, do the Lv10 Excavation stage until you get sick of it! I'm not joking! You're gonna need several millions of Coins to Forge and Max Limit Break your team's weapons. Oh and if you're wondering why I recommend stage Lv10, please read trick #2.
Now that you're even richer than an oil tycoon, its time to decide what you want to do with your secret letters.
-You want to get a character?
Do tons of Hedge Commission stages for character exp items and Exploration Commission stages for character ascension items.
Don't forget to start at stage Lv10 when you'll do Exploration stages! (Again, refer to Trick #2 to understand why I recommend you start with stage Lv10)
Make sure you do a few Capture Commission stages as well for skill upgrade items.
-You want to forge a weapon?
The first thing I recommend you to do if you want to forge a weapon is the Defense Commission Stage for Lunø Memənto items. You're gonna need an absurd amount of these big shiny coins to forge weapons.
I know I'm annoying with this but don't forget to start with the lowest stage, which is stage Lv40!
After you've done that evil stage so many times that seeing gold coins now makes you gag, it's time to do other stages like Termination Commission stages and Mediation Commission stages for weapon exp items and weapon ascension items respectively.
Now that you're ready to max your character/weapon as soon as you get them, go exchange your army of Secret letters for whatever you want.
For characters, feel free to buy a few hundreds of character letters. Around 200~300 should be enough.
For weapons, I suggest you buy a small amount of letters first. Like 15 or 20. In my experience, weapon blueprints have been WAY easier to get than character thoughts.
Now that you have your character/weapon letters, I recommend you do a Covert Commission that has a ∞ symbol in its name.
Why, you ask? Because you won't have to re-start the stage each and every time you clear a wave of enemies and since you're guaranteed to get coins (*gags* Oops, sorry about that!), you'll get even more coi- *AHEM* ...more cash with every wave cleared.
AND GUESS WHAT!! Yes! You have a chance to get Secret letters as a selectable reward at the end of each wave! Neat, right! ✦.✦
Make sure you take them if there are no character thoughts/weapon blueprints!
I hope you found these little tricks of mine helpful! Make sure you check this post from time to time for more tips and tricks! 😁

Regarding the tip with stages that have waves. if you do the lower stage to wave 5 you get 42. But couldn't you just do the higher stage 5 times at wave 1 (or up to whatever wave you can clear efficiently) and get 50?
