im just glad the elemental chart is easy to understand rn im kinda scared for when they start adding new elements then I'm gonna be as lost as I was with genshin

The significance will be much more noticeable once we face enemies with higher HP and Defense pools. Same goes for damage resistances, it will be more significant once we start to face enemies that hit like a truck.

in endgame it really matters like in the mode theater

Think of it like Pokémon types. Like Anemo is stronger against Electro than it is any other element type. That doesn’t mean you can’t take a different type to fight an Electro boss, like Sibylle, but Anemo is stronger against it. It will probably be more important in endgame modes i assume where you really want to bring the right elements in order to beat bosses.

It honestly depends on your Opponet/monster. Either you are neutral or have advantage.
