Honestly, I have been thoroughly enjoying the game and I love it, but objectively, there are a lot of issues that need to be fixed. Quite frankly, the game is just undercooked, suboptimal, and not well thought out. The server issues, mobile gamers being cooked, mobs being way too easy that I feel like I could take on the hardest dungeons, even though they are locked behind progression. Combat is also really messy and is just not satisfying. The jumps, dash, and everything feels slippery and chaotic. Story is subpar, way too long and a bunch of yapfest. I’m kinda tired of this not remembering anything and found out we are strong and destined kind of trope. Just the same thing every time but with different world-building. Sometimes stories just need to be shortened and let the players play the game. It’s frustrating that events are locked behind the story.

With the mobs being way too easy to kill, that disincentivize players to farm and progress, which is the core of this game. If that feeling of finally beating a boss after grinding isn’t there, then the whole purpose of the game is defeated. Now I’m not saying that the devs should make it much more grindy, but there should be a balance somewhere. I understand that the trash mobs are trash, but the boss needs to be better imo.

I’m also worried about the future state of the game, especially the characters. If farming is just trash mobs and AI, then any new character in the future that isn’t AOE-focused would be banished into oblivion. And if the boss doesn’t really demand some teambuilding and strategy also, then is there a need to even build up other characters?

It saddens me that even though we have the blueprints of existing games such as Warframe, it still feels underwhelming.

In any case, just a little rant since I love the game so much. I know the devs are very responsive so I’m not worried about that at all. Like I said, I’ve been enjoying it hella even though there are many problems. The game is unique and is tapped into a whole different genre. They removed the gacha aspect last minute too, so I understand completely that the game isn’t polished yet and still have some gacha aspects (outside of skin gacha). Just hoping that it would get way better in 1.1 and future patches.

So far, I’ll give it a solid 7.5/10. Out of love.
