you can see it on the character screen. The table on the right side where it shows stats. For example, for the MC it suggests assault rifle/ sword

I think char has their fav malee and ranged, like mc's using sword and assault riffle

so nothing to actually tell plainly what is best for each character then?

for a lot you just see they fit each other by desigin (example rebecca) for others you look at passive (theres a weapon that increases hp and berenica scales off hp)
