I've seen a couple people (myself included) with this issue so I thought I'd share my workaround. 

Changing the navigation bar settings in Settings -> display -> navigation bar -> swipe gestures makes it so you can actually press the different buttons along the bottom of lunoloft.

I definitely think that the app developers should make it so we don't have to change on our end - hopefully this is a temporary workaround until they fix it.
