I'm a sucker for a good character design so I'm struggling too but definitely Lady Nifle and Fushu will be the first ones that I get when the game drops. After I'll probably base it on personality too

honestly I don't know but the first character I'll unlock will be sibylle because she's a mommy, plus her gameplay seems fun. On YouTube there's a video showing all characters kit btw
