-You can give every character different weapons, not locked to a special one right?

its somehow needed to farm character shards, as like maybe we know from warframe?

In Warframe you need parts for build character, and it take some time to get it. In DNA you need shards, 30 to obtain a character, it would be some rng to get those shards, but in much faster way. But for weapons, you need some parts, just like Warframe but for character. So yea, you go to the "missions" grind, find what you need, repeat. Any character can use whatever guns and mele, but if you use weapons favoured for the character (any character have preference), you get some bonuses 🫠

every character has one meele and ranged weapon, some has a special wep i.e. consonance weapon. I have made a guide on this , would recommend to check it out , my yt channel in bio

yes, but apparently some weapons work better for specific characters like Psyche with polearms
