How long does it take to get the limited characters?

there is no limited characters. to unlock characters some of them are given as rewards for free or u need to farm for them. from the rates so far u need 10 secret letter clues (obtained from dailies and commissions) to get secret letters which can give u up to 10 shards, u need 30 shards to unlock a character
