Game storytelling is one of the biggest factors that keeps a game going. The story of Duet Night Abyss takes place in a post-war scene, where the humans have already defeated the "demon" king. Instead of being the "hero" that fights against a demon king (a repetitive plot), we are instead put into a perspective of one of the demon races that lived in an age after the humans have already taken control. However, to better understand the world, we are not only able to see how a life of a Charon goes in their present time, but we are also able to experience what a human general has to endure cleaning up after a ruling empire.
This was probably one of the main reasons I chose to play this game. I haven't tried playing a game that allowed me to play two sides of the the same coin. This really does help put things into perspective and allows the player to view the world from in a broader perspective and adds into the world building and storytelling's immersion.

I seriously cant wait. I hope there's also a lot of focus on side characters backstories and such. I love being able to see characters except for the one im mainly playing as interacting with eachother alongside the main story. kind of like reading a book where you are an outsider
