(La Cosa 0002)

There was… this weird hole i stumbled upon when i went out hiking near the east coast. It would probably go unnoticed to many since it was just a tiny crack in the ground near a tree but… for some reason i felt… attracted to that spot. Like something was pulling me there to check it out even before I started hiking and… It was like i had already decided that out of all the spots i’d check out, it would be that tree that looked like any other. So i went. I looked at that tiny little crack in the ground and took a peak… it was dark but, i saw stairs too… leading down.. and down.. and down… it looked like it never ended. I kicked off the rest of the debree covering the hole and managed to slip my body inside. Curiosity got the better of me as i heard… “Mmreow” A-a cat..? I-it shouldn’t be here… but i pushed forward and walked what seemed to be endless flights of stairs, sometimes lit with this fluorescent light, but sometimes pitch black. I went on for hours and got dizzy… i hadn’t brought any food or water with me. So i closed my eyes and tried to rethink the situation before ultimately coming to the conclusion that i should head back. And i opened my eyes and… 50 steps down there was.. something… it was a thing but… at the same time it wasn’t a thing… my heart rate shot up at the unkown figure and turned around to run back, only to be met by a wall of concrete. H-how could that be…? There were just stairs going back up… impossible… then i turned around to find that it had gotten closer… **SNAP**

**the sound of soft footsteps and what sounded like someone sliding down a flight of stairs, with their head hitting and banging against every step of the way down…. Until the sound dimmed into silence**
