Costume Gacha

How do you guys feel about the costume gacha? Are you interested in pulling, now or in the future?

Personally, regardless of if we get frequent free pulls for the gacha or not (beyond the pre-registration rewards), I might spend a little to support the game if the devs are listening to player feedback and if the skins are good.


Would love to hear your guys’ opinions on this though, especially after the preview we got of the systems and first skins today. x)

I don't like it, it can get pretty predatory real fast, i also hate the idea of characters skins being limited to said predatory systems.

But apparently you can also buy the cosmetics outright without needing to pull in the gacha, so we good.

True, I totally understand. I guess I’m just a little numb from all the crazy monetization you see everywhere these days. ^^’ Hopefully the prices to acquire the skins normally won’t be too high.

Its infinitely better than pulling for characters that’s for sure, I’ll try my best to farm for Psyche’s skin!

Her design is already so good, she’s got a lot of detail, especially in the leg area (which is a big pet peeve imo when the legs are just… left bare??). To top her design, they really have to make the costume absolutely gorgeous…

i am f2p from the start cuz I am broke student so although I will not support them by purchasing cosmetics i will not mind not getting the skins or giving significantly less pulls for skins as long they are giving me free character and weapons basically and like you mentioned Dev's taking our feedback

I hope you enjoy the game regardless then! It’ll take a bit of grinding to get characters, but thankfully you won’t miss out since we don’t have to grind endlessly for unguaranteed character pulls and can instead get them directly :)

theyll likely not make male character skins too soon but when they do, ill be here! especially for yuming and phantasio

The only way they could top Yuming’s god tier design is to release a fanservice-y costume for him… I’m waiting for it…

Oh, yeah lmao. It looks great for now imo. Although as I said, since you’re directly supporting the devs when buying, if they make any bad decisions or end up not listening to the player base, then giving them money would be counterintuitive.

Me too! Especially after seeing the recoloring feature for the costumes themselves. For now it looks promising.
